Range of the MGB electric-drive sport car as a function of velocity. Calculated for driving over level roads at steady speeds. By limiting depth of discharge to 75%, range at highway speed of 50 mph is 74 miles - allowing a reserve of 24 miles. Maximum range at highway speed is 98 miles - comparable to production models (Toyota RAV 4, for example). The upgrade to the lithium-ion battery pack is compatible with the new Curtis model 1238 inverter/controller.
